CONSTRUCTION DAILY REPORTS

Everything that happens on site. Before it's forgotten.

Fill in construction daily reports straight from your phone. Record work, crew, hours, materials, vehicles, equipment, notes and photos while the work is being done.

With Restruct, every report stays linked to its site and is instantly available in the office too.

Available on the web, iOS and Android.
01 · FROM SITE TO OFFICE

The daily report shouldn't reach the office the next day.

A sheet filled in at the end of the day, a photo sent on WhatsApp, hours jotted down somewhere and a phone call to piece together what's missing.

When site information reaches the office like this, someone has to collect it, make sense of it and enter it all over again.

With Restruct the report is filled in right where the information is born: on site.

The person in charge records what happened during the day, and the office can see it without waiting for someone to bring back documents, photos or notes.

One piece of information. Entered once. Available where it's needed.

02 · A COMPLETE REPORT

Not just what you did.

Every day on site involves people, work, materials and resources. The report has to tell that story without forcing whoever fills it in to write a novel.

Work done

Record the tasks carried out and describe how the work progressed during the day.

Crew and hours

Note who was on site and the time spent on each task.

Materials

Log the materials used during the work.

Vehicles and equipment

Record the resources used on site and link them to the working day.

Notes

Add information, problems, setbacks and anything worth keeping.

Photos and media

Document what was actually done with photos taken right on site.

03 · MOBILE

A construction site doesn't work at a desk.

That's why Restruct's construction daily reports can be managed straight from a smartphone.

Authorised staff can record information while they're on site, without waiting to get back to the office and without relying on temporary notes to be copied out later.

Restruct is available on iOS and Android, as well as on the web.

The data is born on site. Restruct carries it to the rest of the company.

04 · ALL CONNECTED

A daily report shouldn't be a standalone document.

In Restruct, the report doesn't live on its own.

It's part of the same system that runs the site.

Information gathered in the field can be related to the rest of the work: people, tasks, documents, progress, costs and the organisation of the job.

Because recording what happens is useful. Connecting it to the rest of the company is far more so.

05 · HISTORY

Every day stays where it belongs.

No need to dig through chats, folders, sheets and photos to work out what happened three weeks ago.

Reports stay organised within their site and can be looked up over time alongside the information recorded while the work was carried out.

When you need to reconstruct a day, check a task or find a photo, the information is already there.

Site. Date. Activity. People. Resources. Not memory.

06 · OFFICE + SITE

Two workplaces. One set of information.

SITE

People working in the field need to record what happened quickly.

OFFICE

People running the company need to use that information without copying it out again.

RESTRUCT

Restruct connects the two: the site produces the data, the office finds it inside the same ERP.

It's one of the principles Restruct is built on: removing the needless steps between those who do the work and those who manage it.

07 · ERP

Daily reports are only one part of Restruct.

Restruct isn't a separate app dedicated solely to daily reports.

It's construction management software that brings the company's main activities into a single system: sites, bills of quantities, quotes, staff, customers and suppliers, warehouse, documents, invoicing, accounting, treasury and much more.

The report filled in on site therefore enters the same environment where the company organises and controls the rest of its work.

08 · WHO IT'S FOR

For the people who actually have to run the site.

Restruct's daily reports are designed for construction companies that want to stop passing information around on paper, chats, phone calls and separate sheets.

From field staff to site managers, up to the technical and administrative office, every authorised person works on the information they need within the same system.

Everything you need to know about construction daily reports

What is a construction daily report?

A construction daily report gathers information about the activities carried out during a working day, such as work done, staff employed, hours, materials, vehicles, equipment, notes and photos.

Can I fill in construction daily reports from my phone?

Yes. Restruct is available as an app for iOS and Android and lets you take to the site the operational tasks that don't need a desktop workstation.

Are the reports linked to the sites?

Yes. Reports are managed within their site, keeping information organised and easy to look up over time.

Can I add photos to a report?

Yes. Photos let you document directly what was done and keep a record of it alongside the rest of the day's information.

Is Restruct only software for construction daily reports?

No. Restruct is an ERP for construction companies. Daily reports are part of a wider system that includes site management, bills of quantities, quotes, staff, documents, warehouse, invoicing, accounting and other areas of the company.

What is the difference between a construction daily report and the works journal?

The construction daily report is an internal operational tool of the company: every day it records work done, staff, hours and resources used. The works journal (giornale dei lavori), in public works, is a document required by law and kept under the responsibility of the works director, with defined content and purposes. They are two different documents, although the information gathered in the daily reports can help fill it in.
